FEA reads across elementary schools

Early this March Future Educators of America will be participating in Read Across America, a program sponsored by the National Education Association. Students in FEA will be reading to preschoolers at Hackmann Early Childhood and in two preschool classes at Henderson Elementary.

“Students in FEA are in it because they want to teach,” FEA sponsor Kim Coil said, “So reading and especially in classrooms is what we enjoy doing.”

The official date for Read Across America is March 2, but no day has been decided by FEA to read to the preschoolers. Coil hopes for it to be the week of March 3.
