As the first week of school ends, students and teachers are getting used to the changes within the new year. Some of those changes include new teachers, such as the math teacher Scott Beck. Beck has teaching experience, but this is his first time teaching at a high school.
“I don’t want to say I expected misbehaved students because my classes are freshman and what was rumored to be a rowdy section of junior and seniors,” Beck said, “But each and every one seemed to be top notch students in their mannerisms and their performance.” Beck has even already learned a few new things in the first week from his students. He also claims his staff and the math department has been very helpful.
“I would say its just the Francis Howell North students have exceeded my expectations,” Beck said.
