Gold Cup is anything but golden for Knights

On Nov. 1, Howell North and Howell High’s hockey teams met on the ice for the annual Gold Cup.

Howell got off to a quick start, scoring three goals in the first period. One spectator said the Knights couldn’t cash in on their power plays, while the Vikings were able to take advantage of theirs.

The final score was 5-0, as the Vikings scored one point in each of the last two periods.

The JV team also lost to Howell, with a score of 4-3.
