Gina Harmon is a Para professional that works in the special education department. What most people in school don’t know is that this Para is also a certified art teacher and has been working as a cosmetologist/aesthetician for 31 years, and has worked in the TV, commercial, magazine, bridal and runway business doing hair and make up.
Though, she does most of her work at home.
“The lower level of my home is a spa,” Harmon said. “I have a full staff with doctors and nurses.”
Some of the services Harmon offers are: cutting and coloring hair, up-‘dos, facials, spray tanning, permanent cosmetics, mole removal, waxing, laser hair removal, and messages.
“I give great messages,” Harmon said. ”I am currently taking classes in ‘healing touch,’ channeling cleansing and reflexology.”
Harmon is always welcoming new clients to try out her business. She loves doing this and it helps a good cause in the end.
“I call my clients hairless angles,” Harmon said. “Ten percent of each client’s payment is forwarded to a charity of their choice.”
