Games Club Profile

Games Club originally started out as role playing and is now just all about playing different types of games. There are mostly freshman and senior students involved in the club. With there being only about ten people, they usually play video games.
“The kids are always totally engaged and enthusiastic,” Club sponsor, Mrs. Montgomery said.
Most the games they play are on Xbox. They go from playing Guitar Hero to Halo to Dungeons and Dragons to Call of Duty, as well as many others.
The students usually meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Half the time they get together in Mr. Little’s Room in Comm. 1, and the other they meet in Room 116 with Mrs. Montgomery.
The club mostly provides a stress-free environment, but more importantly lets students have fun.
According to Mrs. Montgomery, Games Club helps with critical thinking, logical skills, and problem solving skills that are important for many career paths.
There is a chance that they will have a Guitar Hero tournament in late February.
“Games Club…” Freshman Dan Wolters said, “Live long and prosper.”
