3. Have a Photo Shoot on the River Front with all your friends. This is a great free activity for those of us who get bored easily but find that our wallets are very bare. Plus, you can show off your afternoon on the River Front on Facebook.
4. Have a ‘staycation’ with your family and plan out fun activities. “There is an endless amount of fun running through a sprinkler, acting like you’re five again, when you’re really 17,” Kristen Boiles said.
6. Host a Scavenger Hunt around St. Charles/St. Peters. We all have a small competitive side to us, and a little competition is good for us every now and then. This is your chance to have a showdown with all your friends and make some great memories. “They’re a lot of fun because it’s a great way to hang out with your friends and it’s out of the ordinary,” junior, Chelsea Norman said.
7. Spend a whole day doing things you’ve never done before. Audrey Hepburn did it in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, and whatever Audrey approves of must be good.
8. Have a movie marathon with your friends on rainy days. Who doesn’t love a good Disney or James Bond marathon?
9. Spend a whole day by the pool tanning and swimming. Just remember to use sunscreen and keep reapplying it after you get out of the water.
10. Volunteer around the community. You will be helping your home and you will feel like you’ve accomplished something this summer instead of saying that you just sat around and did nothing.
11. Start a Dog-Walking business. This will earn you some extra money and your hours will be flexible so you won’t miss out on anything you really want to do.
