Who said crime doesn’t pay?

Crime. A word that typically means the act of stealing, harming, or even questionable mischief against another person, but for international art thief Neal Caffrey, crime is an art.

USA Network’s new original hit series White Collar, is about Neal Caffrey (Matthew Bomer) an art thief whose been all over the world, pulling cons, stealing art, and recently making enemies. In the season beginner, Caffrey was caught by F.B.I agent Peter Burke (Tim Dekay) before he was boarding a plane in New York City after stealing a Russian artifact known as “The Music Box” to sell it on the black market, corrupting government agencies working within the United States. As Caffrey was about to board the plane, Burke was able to talk Caffrey out of making his life out of crime and offering him a second chance to make things right, but being under-house arrest for the F.B.I. to keep Caffrey from going to jail. After a thoughtful consideration for Burke’s offer, Caffrey decided to change his ways and come with the F.B.I. willingly to discuss negotiations regarding “The Music Box”, but as they were leaving the scene, Caffrey thought he say a glimpse of one of his former friends, an art thief, and love interest, named Kate (Alexandra Daddario) in the window of the plane, but as both Caffrey and Burke made their way over to the subject, the plane violently exploded, killing Kate.

The last season has been Caffrey’s on-and-off search for who had planted the bomb on the plane, making little progress each episode. In the season finale, Caffrey finds out who really set the bomb on the plane in order to take “The Music Box” for themselves. The suspected bomber turns out to be a close agent of the F.B.I. named Garret Fowler (Noah Emmerich). As Caffrey discovers this, he sets out on a revenge-bent search for Fowler to discover the true meanings of why “The Music Box” is so important that this secret agency had to kill in order to obtain it. The season ended with Caffrey holding a gun to Fowler’s head, questioning if taking revenge into his own hands was worth the cost of taking another life.

With all the action, adventure, and occasional crime-spree every now and then, White Collar is one of the most anticipated and action packed shows of the summer! On a scale of one to ten, I would give it a ten with no questions asked, and I’m pretty sure anyone who tunes in would give it a ten as well because how could you get any better than a show about a day in the life of a criminal.
