The FHN 026 Journalism Alumni announced the winners of the first ever FHN Journalism Scholarships for Graduating Seniors. This year, the alumni chose to award three scholarships totaling $1,750.
Logan Ponche was awarded $750, Ashlee Schneider was awarded $500 and Coleen Grone was awarded $500. The winners were selected by alumni of the journalism program at North. The scholarship funds were part of the money the program received for being named a 2011 Cornerstone Award winner.
The plan is for alumni to donate to a scholarship fund and award at least one scholarship annually. You can donate to the scholarship or find out more information about it at http://www.FHN026.com.
