Susanna McFarland

The FHNtoday.com crew sat down with Varsity swimmer Susanna McFarland for a small Q&A about her swimming career.

FHNtoday.com: How long have you been swimming?

Susanna McFarland: “This is my third year.”

FHNtoday: How long have you swam on FHN’s Varsity swim team?

SM: “Three years”

FHNtoday: What is your favorite thing about swimming?

SM: “That it keeps me in shape, and I love being in the water.”

FHNtoday: What is your favorite experience on the swim team?

SM: “Finishing the 200 IM and not drowning.”

FHNtoday: What is your biggest accomplishment in your swimming career?

SM: “Learing to swim the fly.”

FHNtoday: What things motivate you in your career?

SM: “I’m motivated to keep going because it keeps me active, and I love the sport.”

FHNtoday: What do you do to ensure success?

SM: “Put 100 percent in at practice, and I finish all my sets without skipping any.”

FHNtoday: What are you most looking forward to in the remainder of the season?

SM: “Senior night because I’ve worked so hard to get here, and it feels good to be a senior. Also, the underclassmen have to get all 11 of us presents.”
