On Oct 1 the Varsity softball team faces off against Hazelwood Central at home. This game was dedicated as the “Staff Appreciation Game”. Before the game the girls chose a staff member who they wanted to publicly thank before their game. During this ceremony they also acknowledged their senior members and even the seniors of Centrals team. With the final score of 9-4 FHN defeated Hazelwood Central on their home field. “I think it [our game against Central] was a good game and it really helped us prepare for districts” – Jessica Grimes said.
