9-5 V Football vs. FZE [photo gallery]

On September 6, the varsity football team prepared for the first home game of the season on the newly installed turf against the Fort Zumwalt East Lions. The Lions scored first on a field goal, and had kept the lead until after the game. The closest the Knights were to overtaking the Lions was 15-18 after a Darrian Wolosyk touchdown, and then a two-point conversion with 8:35 left in the third quarter. The Lions then scored four more touchdowns while missing the extra point once. The final score was 45-15 Lions. (photos by matt krieg)
