On Thursday, Sept. 2, Spanish teacher Brian Santos had a chilly morning. He was challenged to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Santos had challenged all of his spanish classes to get the highest class average for their first test. His third hour had the privilege to dump cold water all over him because they had the highest class average.
“I had studied for this test anyway but it was awesome that he got all of us involved,” junior Hannah Dietrich said. “It was a nice privilege.”
Santos spoke in spanish as he nominated other teachers from other schools to do the challenge. His students then poured the cold water on him. Some students poured the water really slow or they threw the water at him. Santos was soaked by the time all of the students were done.
Santos says he plans on donating money to the charity as well.
