2015 Senior Portraits

UPDATE:

The last day for Senior pictures is Friday, Sept. 19. Students will need to call Prestige again to make an appointment. They will be taking the photos at FHN, and they are free.

  1. Students must have their picture taken by Lifetouch/Prestige Portraits in order to be included in the yearbook and the senior composite that hangs in the hallway.  We cannot take pictures from 3rd party vendors for inclusion into these items.
  2. Prestige Portraits will be at FHN taking pictures in the Choir Room (room 58) the week of June 23rd through 27th.  You will receive an appointment card in the mail.  If for some reason you are unable to make the appointment, please call the phone number on the card.
  3. There is no charge to have your yearbook picture taken.  Several poses will be taken and may include a cap and gown portrait.
  4. Gentlemen should wear a button down shirt and tie while ladies should wear a nice blouse or sweater (no low cut tops, strapless or spaghetti straps, etc).   T-shirts, hats or sunglasses are not allowed for your yearbook photo.  Please follow the school dress code.  FHN reserves the right to exclude any photo that violates the school dress code.  Students should arrive to their sitting already dressed for their senior picture and can do an outfit change during their photo session.
  5. Proofs will be mailed home along with on-line viewing information approximately 2 weeks after your photo session.  Students may choose the yearbook photo on-line or over the phone.  If you do not choose your yearbook photo, Prestige Portraits will choose one for you.  You will also have the option of purchasing photos on-line.
  6. Students who have their picture taken in June will also have their student ID made from this picture.  This eliminates the need to have an ID picture taken at schedule pick-up!
  7. Having ONLY your ID picture taken at schedule pick-up is not a Senior Yearbook picture.  You must attend a Senior Yearbook photo session!
  8. Students who do not have their photo taken during the assigned week in June will be able to have their picture taken on a make-up day.  Two make up days have been scheduled during the fall on days where there is no school.   They are August 29 and September 19.  Students who do not have their portrait on one of these dates will not be in the yearbook.
  9. If you have any questions please contact Prestige Portraits at 636-438-0829.

The AP is one of the largest and most trusted sources of independent newsgathering, supplying a steady stream of news to its members, international subscribers and commercial customers. AP is neither privately owned nor government-funded; instead, as a not-for-profit news cooperative owned by its American newspaper and broadcast members, it can maintain its single-minded focus on newsgathering and its commitment to the highest standards of objective, accurate journalism.

AP’s commitment to independent, comprehensive journalism has deep roots. Founded in 1846, AP has covered all the major news events of the past 165 years, providing high-quality, informed reporting of everything from wars and elections to championship games and royal weddings.

Today, AP employs the latest technology to collect and distribute content. It is in the process of overhauling its video and photography content: transitioning to high-definition, expanding its coverage and building a new, flexible, powerful infrastructure. AP has the industry’s most sophisticated digital photo network; a 24-hour continuously updated online, multimedia news service; a state-of-the-art television news service; and one of the largest radio networks in the U.S. Its commercial digital photo archive is one of the world’s largest collections of historical and contemporary imagery. AP Mobile, the AP’s award-winning news app, has been downloaded over 9 million times since its launch in 2008, and AP has a strong social media presence, building new connections between AP and its members, customers and consumers.

Since the Pulitzer Prize was established, in 1917, AP has received 51 Pulitzers, including 31 photo Pulitzers.

AP, which is headquartered in New York, operates in more than 280 locations worldwide, including every statehouse in the U.S. Two-thirds of its staffers are journalists.

    Anyway, great article!
