Staffer of the Week: Jordyn Klackner

This week’s winner – Jordyn Klackner.IMG_0646

Jordyn Klackner teaches Senior Lit., Intro to Journalism, Photojournalism, and advises the Excalibur yearbook staff. She enjoys teaching her students day in and day out. She loves learning about her students and helping them push through challenges and celebrating success.

“Every single day of this job is different and every single student brings something different to the day,” said Klackner.

She hopes her students feel more confident in their skills when they leave her classroom. She hopes her students develop new reading, writing, and thinking skills that will carry her students further in their education.

“I want all of my students to learn something about themselves in my classroom and walk out as all around better, happy people,” said Klackner.

Some of Klackner’s favorite hobbies include reading, volunteering with her local youth group, and spending time with her family. She is spending most of her free time planning her upcoming wedding. She has also taken an interest in photography.

“The excitement my students have for photography inspires me to spend more time with a camera,” said Klackner.

She is planning on going to Florida to spend time with her Fiance in Disney World. She is also planning on attending the Mizzou vs. Florida game.

“Getting a lot of things done and re-charging a bit,” said Klackner.

Vote for next weeks winner, story will come out the week after fall break Oct. 23. This poll with stay up all fall break
