Rehling supports her team on the sidelines while they cheer during a soccer. Due to an injury to her ankle, Rehling has to sit out most of the game. Rehling is only a loud to cheer for a few moment at each game so she does not further injure her ankle.

Senior Lexie Rehling is one of the varsity cheerleaders at FHN. This is her second year cheering for the varsity team.

“My favorite part about high school cheer is how close I have become with all of the other girls on our team” Rehling said.

Rehling is also a competitive cheerleader for Cheer St. Louis in O’Fallon. She has been a competitive cheerleader for over nine years.

“The thrill of competing is the best part of competitive cheer,” Rehling said.

Rehling takes this passion for cheer, and coaches a cheer team for her gym. Rehling plans to continue competitive cheer after high school.
