Three Things to Watch This Week 2/23

Girls Basketball vs Timberland 2/24

On Wednesday, Feb. 24, the varsity girls basketball team will face Timberland. This game is a makeup game for the canceled game on Feb. 10 due to snow. In the only previous meeting between these two teams, the Lady Knights won by a score of 49-27. If recent history is any indication the Knights should get the win away from home on Wednesday. Especially since the Lady Knights are coming off their 53-35 victory over Troy on senior night.

Boys Basketball vs St. Charles West 2/26

In the last game of their regular season the varsity boys basketball team will face St. Charles West on Friday, Feb. 26. This game is not only special because it is the last regular season game, but is also special because it will be played at Lindenwood University. This game should be very close, because in the two teams last meeting the Warriors won by only three points. The Knights need to win this test if they hope to advance past FHC in the district tournament the following Monday.

Girls Basketball vs St.Charles West 2/26

Just like the boys basketball team, the Lady Knights will be taking on St. Charles West on Feb. 26, at Lindenwood University. If the Lady Knights get the win on Wednesday then they will move to a 12-11 and third place in the division. In this game  they look to pick up another win against the 8-15 Warriors. The team looks to have a tough road ahead in the district competition facing the also 12-11 FZS Bulldogs in the first round. Then if they get past the Bulldogs then they play FHHS.
