On Oct. 9 Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton appeared at Washington University for the second presidential debate. Washington University set up an area called the Public Expression Zone where various organizations and individuals were free to voice their opinions. Organizations gathered around the area carrying signs and handing out various flyers. There was also a stage set up where several people gave speeches. The Public Expression Zone was located at the corner of Big Bend and Forsyth. It was open from 3:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. with people giving speeches throughout the debate.
