District Band Performance:

On Nov. 20, the Metro District 8 concert and jazz bands will be performing their concert at 1 p.m. at Chaminade Preparatory School. There are 11 kids from the FHN band program that made it into these bands. Anyone is able to go and watch.

No School:

Next week, starting Wednesday, school will not be in session for the rest of the week. The reason for this is Thanksgiving break.

School Board Meeting:

This Thursday, Nov. 17, the school board will be hosting a meeting to discuss the outcome of the Prop Howell votes and how the district will move forward from there. Publications will be putting out coverage on Friday.

School Concerts:

On Nov. 21, choir will have their concert, going from 7-9 p.m. The jazz band will have their concert on the next day, starting at 7 p.m. as well.

Upcoming Stories:

On Nov. 21, there will be more coverage on Prop Howell and how it will affect the district as a whole in the future. There will be a story of how science club has a competition on crystal growing on Nov. 22. Stay tuned for more.
