On Saturday March 13 from 9 a.m. until noon the St. Louis Zoo is holding a job fair for spring, summer, and fall jobs. Students age 15 and older can apply. The job fair will give information on the jobs and a chance for a screening interview. Some jobs available are engineers and conductors for the Zoo Railroad, catering, groundskeepers, gardeners, gift shop attendants, and parking lot attendants.

The annual Blood Drive was held on March 5 in the Big gym throughout the day. Students had the opportunity to help the cause by donating during one of their classes.

Howell North's speech and debate team finished up one of their last competitions yesterday at the National Forensic League competition at Pattonville High School. Elizabeth Groenweghe, Aurora Blanchard, Samantha Kelly, and Missy Holmes all competed.
"Overall we did good for a starting-out team, considering we made it all the way to the National Qualifiers," coach Theresa Maher said.

Columbia Scholastic Press Advisers Association also known as is a Journalism association that awards students for the good work that they do. CSPA announced their online web finalist in February. FHNtoday.com found out they are one of CSPA's finalists.
