The auditorium was packed as the lights were dimmed down for the start of the concert. Fraufest 2010 was about to begin."It was amazing." Sophomore Abby Bounds said. "I have a headache from headbanging though."
With Rock and Metal music from bands such as Ethnogenesis, Parables of the Fading Eye, Screaming Glory, and Kalamiti! it's no surprise that students were jumping around and headbanging.
"I thought Kalamiti was great since I'm more of a Metal fan." Bounds said.
In between the bands performances, while they were setting up for the next one, other students came onstage to entertain the crowd.
Christian Hickerson showed off some of his break dance moves, Nick Marquart did a skit and sang a duet, and MC/Fighting For Friday singer and guitarist David Tecklenburg told a tale of how Fraufest was started through the art of Interpretive Dance.
Fighting for Friday along with The Perfect Wonderful had dance pop tunes and got most of the students to the front of the stage dancing with songs such as Skinny Jeans, Party in the USA/Pants on the Ground, and Suburban Gangster.
"It was freaking awesome!" Joe Slavich, the lead singer of The Perfect Wonderful said. "It's one of the best shows we've ever had and we've had some pretty great shows."
