You know I’m a big football fan I play it, I watch it, I enjoy, but whenever I go around school talking about North’s football team I always get the same response. “Try not to lose this year,” or “You guys aren’t that good.” It is hard enough to be on a high school football

team it leaves you bruised, scratched, and physically brought down, but to have someone tell you, you are no good before you have even had a chance to prove them wrong it brings you down mentally and in the worst way.

It is like judging a book by its cover; you can’t base us on past seasons. This is a new year and a new team, and you know what I think? We have a legitimate shot at being good this year. Yeah this season has started out tougher than most with more new coaches, players that haven’t returned, and a senior class you can count with both hands, but I think the team we have this year works well together and is a strong team. Strong enough to take the coaches abuse and definitely strong enough to take yours as well, and then come out on Friday night and prove you wrong. There is nothing we can do about last season now, all we can do is focus on the upcoming one and with some support who knows it could be a great season for everyone
