The Lady Knights Golf Team has been practicing for two weeks now getting ready
for their first match.
Everyday it’s something different with Ashley Trautman. “There are so many things I need to work on because I want to be the best for Tuesday,” Trautman said. Trautman has been working on her drive all summer long. She finally has that club nailed. “She can hit about 200 yards every drive,” her mother Michelle Trautman said. All of the other girls have been working just as hard to get a spot in the top five. The top five are who play in the matches. The girls practice almost three hours every night. With all their practice, many think the girls should have a stronger team than last year. “They will win at least half of their matches this season,” Coach Otto said.
With all the hard work, it has paid off for Ashlee Schneider, Trautman, Lauren Reiche, Clair Swab, and Katie Portilla. They will represent North Tuesday, Aug. 25 against incarnate.
