Open house is a chance for students and parents to switch places.
For one night students will hand off their schedules and let their parents worry about getting to class on time. This Wednesday that opportunity will again present itself to the parents and students of Francis Howell North. At 6:30p.m. everyone will meet in the large gym, from there they will break off and follow their student’s schedule. When parents get to first hour the teachers will then have the opportunity to introduce themselves and tell what the class is about. Parents will then repeat the process six more times just as students do every day.
Dean of students Tom Potteiger hopes that parents and students who attend this year’s open house will walk away with a better sense of what they will be doing in individual classes and what will be going on at North.
