During the week of Aug. 25th, StuCo took over the hallways of North by instigating Pride week.
Each day stood for a different value: respect, character, commitment, effort and pride. On ever day, a different event took place to show off that value, such as sending letters to fellow students, dressing up like a favorite character and participating in an assembly.
“We’re wanting the students to get a feel for these values,” head of StuCo Jani Wilkins said. “By having them participate in some fun events, they can better understand some general values.”
StuCo members worked hard to plan such a week, taking time out of their summer to arrange the event.
“We did a lot of planning,” Wilkins said. “I think the students had a good time with everything.” Wilkins said.
