Choir director returns from maternity leave

On July 7th Lorraine Smith the choir director at North gave birth to her daughter. Smith and her husband named the baby girl Morgan Jeanette.Today she returned from maternity leave to resume teaching her classes.

“I’m really excited to be back.” Smith said.

This is Smith’s second child. Her son Parker turned three years old today. With two children and a teaching career that will be time consuming Smith look’s forward to finding time to spend with her family.

“Just getting into a routine will be a challenge,” Smith said. “and getting my two kids off to the sitter and staying after sometimes for choir.”
