Radio personality visits school

Monday September 8, at Francis Howell North, it was

the typical school day. School started and ended like any other day, but little known to the students, the North staff enjoyed the company of talk radio host and voice of St. Louis, Dave Glover.
Glover hosts 97.1’s Dave Glover Show and once a month his listeners have the opportunity to have “Coffee Talk,” where him and his cohosts come in and chat with their listeners.
“We just hang out. This is the first time we have done it at a school,” said Glover, “you know we come in, bring doughnuts in, and talk about the show.”
“Coffee Talk” is much more than an opportunity for listeners to talk to their favorite radio voice. It is also a time where Glover gets some feedback.
“You know when you are on the radio and you are in the station you kind of talk to air. Here, I get to come in and talk straight to the fans,” said Glover.
