North makes a poor start on spirit week.

Monday was million-dollar Monday and only ten percent of the 1,976 students enrolled in at North, showed their spirit for homecoming week.

      “I forgot to dress up.”  Freshmen Barbi Bateman said.

As Batman wears just jeans and a pink sports club shirt. She explains how Mondays are not a good day to dress up, because students forget over the weekend. But Batman was not the only one to forget to dress up. Bateman plans to dress up for Class Colors day, Black and Gold day, and maybe Twin day.

      “ I don’t dress up, and I am trying to show school spirit.” sophomore Maddie McMillen said.

      McMillen don’t usually dress up so this gave her something to do. McMillen showed her spirit by looking like a million dollars. She thinks the student council should have chosen better spirit days. She thought the spirit days would have gone with more of the Las Vegas Knights theme for homecoming. McMillen says that she is pumped and excited for homecoming. She plans to dress up for the rest of homecoming spirit week.

      “Like I won a million dollars.” McMillen said.
