There was a variety of people that gathered in the stands of Francis Howell North High School stadium on Oct. 3 to watch their home team play Troy for their homecoming football game.
This large crowd was excited, enthusiastic, and supportive about the game to be played. This was obvious by their school spirit that night. People came ready to cheer on their team. There were moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, cousins, and friends in the crowd supporting the knights football team. People came dressed in black and gold. They had signs saying things like, “Go Knights”.
The crowd was rowdy and hoping for a victory but whether the knights did good or made some mistakes the crowd still cheered and supported them through the entire game.
“The crowd was huge, bigger than any other game of the year.” Sophomore Ashley Thompson said, “The crowd was so supportive of our team.”
