It was a busy morning on Thursday, October 2 for senior Paul Gray as he desperately ran around his room trying to figure out how to put on his toga for this year’s toga day.


Technically Thursday was class colors day, but for seniors it was a chance to wear a toga to school.
When asked how cool toga day is on a scale from one to ten senior Josh Mayden said, “It is a definite ten. How many other chances do you get to wear a toga all day long.”
Even teachers at North like the idea of toga day.
“Toga day creates spirit, as well as breaking the routine from an ordinary day,” English teacher Ron Ochu said.
Toga day brings out creativity in the students, and increases the schools’ spirit.
“Toga day is great for the school. It brings out the spirit and creativity of the students, and lets the students express themselves,” Ochu said.
Toga day influences some interesting outfits and draws much attention to the seniors who will be leaving very soon.
“I made sure I didn’t forget to wear a toga,” Gray said. “I wore my smurfs sheet as my toga. I definitely got some looks and shared a few laughs.”
