The spirit was definitely showing during FHN’s spirit week this year.


With Million Dollar Monday, Twin Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Class Colors Thursday and Black and Gold day Friday, the students were able to show how excited they were for homecoming.

“We held a meeting and everyone voiced their opinions on the different days,” Stuco Cabinet member Andrew Hairlson said about how the days were decided. “My favorite day had to be million dollar Monday even though a lot of people were already dressing up for D.E.C.A. I knew they were supporting spirit week in their hearts.”

For seniors and juniors, they had the option of either being wacky on Wednesday or dressing up in their powderpuff apparel. Some students even decided to “wack out” their jerseys. On Thursday the seniors also had the option of either wearing their class colors of blue and silver, or to wear a toga.

“I was so excited to wear a toga,” senior Katie Kirkman said. “I have been waiting since my freshman year to wear one.”
