On Wednesday, Oct. 22 and Thursday, Oct. 23, parent-teacher conferences are at North. The conferences will go from 4:30-8 p.m. in the small and large gyms.
“Parents seem to enjoy these,” assistant principal Nancy Wade said. “The parents are able to find out what’s going on at school that the student doesn’t tell them.”
At the conference, parents will be able to speak individually with teachers about their student’s grades, how they can improve, and other questions or concerns the parent has.
“They [conferences] are good for kids whose parents think they aren’t doing good,” senior Christine Holbrook said. “It’s good they can talk to the teachers and get their honest answer.”
