Pussycat Dolls, Doll Domination review

Doll Domination, the Pussycat Dolls new CD, starts off with their latest single, When I Grow Up.

Keeping their same pop sound and remixed music, the Pussycat Dolls continued to sing the same style of music as they always have.  As with most of their hit singles, they use a repetitive beat or phrase in their songs to get the song stuck in your head and then there are the slow songs, that contain the more sad sound.

This CD is good if you like having a bunch of songs stuck in your head.  The beats of the songs on this CD get stuck in your head, as well as the lyrics.  The second song on this CD, Bottle Pop, keeps saying “bottle pop” over and over to the point of annoyance. Also in another song there’s a sound in the background that almost hurts your ears because it’s little high-pitched.  But there are some good things about this CD.  The Pussycat Dolls have a few songs on Domination that include relatable lyrics that appeal to not only those people looking for something to dance to.

If you are looking for something to play in car and to turn up and jam out to, this CD is the perfect thing for you, but if you have younger kids in your car, don’t play it. There are suggestive lyrics that aren’t the best things for kids to hear.  Overall this is a typical CD out of the Pussycat Dolls.  They yet again proved themselves as the dominators of female pop groups with Doll Domination, no pun intended.
