Lady Knights beat FZE 61-20

Last night the Varsity Lady Knights played their first home game against Fort Zumwalt East and defeated them with a score of 61-20. With their first game as a win, the Lady Knights have started their season off on the right foot. Tomorrow they will play their first away game of the regular season at Timberland.

“Last night our team worked together very well,” Senior Lauren Cooke said. “We got a good win to start off the regular season.”

Not only did the team win their first home game, but they were also Consolation champions in their Marquette Tournament held last week.

“My favorite part about the tournament was the success within our team,” junior Stephanie Agre said. “With only one senior playing, I think we did a good job.”
