Last night all you could hear was Shalom. The king has been born. Warm at the fire. Oh, Joseph, this journey will be so hard.

Last night at Harvester Christian Church, the cast was working hard to make Journey to Bethlehem even better than last year. The cast is made up of about seven hundred people. For some, this is their first year doing it, while for others, this is their eleventh.

Journey starts Thursday, Dec. 11, and ends the following Sunday. The play will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 on Thursday and Friday, and 5:30 p.m. to 9 on Saturday and Sunday.

When you arrive at the church you may wait in line, but from experience, it’s totally worth it. While you wait in line, you might encounter a visit from a Roman Solider. If you’re lucky, when you finally get ready to go, you will travel the long journey to Bethlehem that Mary and Joseph traveled. On the way, you will have lots of stops and meet a lot of people. After you are finished with your long journey, you will get a treat. This is a journey you don’t want to miss.

This is a free event and open to the public. It is a great way to get in the holiday mood. You will interact with people and be able to participate with the animals. This experience is great for everyone; so don’t miss your journey.
