Saturday, Dec. 13 there was a wrestling tournament held at North. Though the JV wrestlers were looking to do better than they have done in the rest of their matches, they still came up short.
“There were a lot of matches we should have won that we didn’t,” coach Chris Brown said.
The wrestlers, as a team, came up short this time. Overall, they placed last out of eight teams in the tournament.
“The good thing is we are improving,” JV wrestler Michael Blanzy said, “so everybody will get better later in the season.”
Though the team came in last, there were two medalists that placed. Zach Kneemiller placed first and Michael Blanzy placed second.
“I think I could have done better,” Blanzy said, “because it’s just a JV tournament.”
