Will Smith’s new flick, “Seven Pounds,” about a lonely man who tries to right the wrongs of his past, was a bit different from his other movies. For me, the plot was difficult to follow and understand as he goes in between the lives of the seven people whose lives he tries to improve.
But while the plot was difficult, the emotions in the movie are true and help connect you into the lives of these people. There’s depression, joy, lust, love and anger. A little something for everyone to relate to. It’s a movie that can make even the most unemotional person tear up.
This movie is worth going to see once you get past the difficult plot and look into the underlying meaning of the movie. I think for most, once the movie ends, they should find it worth their time.
