On Jan. 24, the cheerleaders held a cheer clinic for children in kindergarten, all the way through eighth grade. While at the clinic, the children learned different skills about cheerleading and they performed a dance they were taught throughout the day.
“We teach them dances and cheers,” freshman Heather Hale said. “It’s fun.”
The children who attended the clinic are invited to perform during halftime at the Varsity girls basketball game tonight at 6 p.m against Lafayette.
“I love the kids,” coach Curie Karsten said. “They’re darling.”
