On Jan. 23, freshman Chelsey Damalas, along with about 60 other teen-aged girls and boys, were able to sit in on online interview with pop star Jesse McCartney. Here is the question that Damalas was able to ask McCartney.
Q: How do crowds act differently in smaller cities then in bigger ones?
A: I think they are really all the same. People always ask what is your favorite type of venue? I have performed at one with 20,000 people then at a club with a 1,000 people. To me they are both equally fun. Sometimes the smaller gigs are more fun because it feels like there is more of an intimacy with the crowd. While performing with a large mass it is maybe sometimes harder to connect. They both serve their purpose. I mean, I love performing.
