Dogs use leashes. Humans use leashes? The world amazes me.

Parents are using leashes to hold their children back from life.

I personally think this is a ridiculous way to raise a child; what ever happened to “Honey, come here, just hold my hand”? I guess holding your child’s hand is overrated and we have to move to the next biggest thing, a leash. Why don’t you also make it a cool fashionable pattern to look even better walking around freely while seizing your child’s ribs back with your grasp.

I hope it feels good knowing that your child gets to watch other children laugh and play while yours is being known as “the kid with the leash.” One day I am going to carry scissors in my purse. Every time I see a child with a leash on, I will take out my scissors and cut the leash. I will feel very good knowing I allowed that child to have freedom, even though their parent may not be very happy with me. So parents I suggest you throw that leash away, and let those children run free!
