Who is your favorite super hero? Mine is not Batman, Superman or even Spider-man. My all time favorite super heroes are my best friends. Friendships are what hold a teenager’s life together.

Most adults would tell you that high school is a time for learning, but if you were to ask most teenagers, they would tell you that they only go to school for their friends. Friends make life fun and interesting. My friends, especially, love to be crazy and sometimes it’s fun to just sit and watch them.

Just like super heroes, friendships save you from trouble and keep you in line. However, friendships often have their own super villain – drama. All teenagers experience it sometime in their high school career and usually it is over something dumb. Good friends know how to get over drama and that is what makes friendship so special. My friends and I always get through the tough times and laugh about it later.

Good friends truly do hold a teenager’s life together. They listen to all your problems and they stand by you no matter what. Next time you look to the sky, just know it’s not a bird or a plane. It’s your best friend watching over you.
