Scholar Quiz team prepares for Howell pop culture competition

Scholar Quiz will be heading to a conference on March 28 at Howell to compete against other high schools in the District. This will be their second competition this semester. It will be a trivia competition where they will answer any variety of questions about school related topics to pop culture.

“I’m looking forward to comparing our knowledge to other schools in our district,” sophomore Abigail Oleshchuk said. This will be her first time competing with the FHN Scholar Quiz team. “I’m especially looking forward to defeating Central.”

Earlier this year, FHN Scholar Quiz team competed against Central and many other schools in a competition held at Wash U. This will be their chance to redeem themselves after losing to Central in January at the Wash U Quiz Bowl Invitational.
