Patterson offers gripping teen novel, ‘Maximum Ride’

I recently read Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment, the first book in a series by James Patterson. This book is awesome. It has action, comedy, and mystery. The main character is Max, a 14 year old girl. She goes through more things in a month then most people go through in a lifetime.

She is constantly being chased and running away from people trying to kill her. On top of all of this, she is in charge of five other kids ranging from six to 14 who depend on her for everything. This book is very fast pace and it just keeps getting better. Many times in this book I felt like I was there watching every thing unfold. I couldn’t put this book down. Even though this book is written from a girl’s point of view, I recommend this book for anyone who loves action.
