Driving to FHN has become an issue. In the past few weeks, students driving to school have made some bad choices. Some students have caused accidents in the parking lots,
and others have been driving on the lawns. These youths messing around has caused some very dangerous situations.
In other cases, students such as sophomores, have driven to school and then tried to park in the lots, which is not permitted. It’s a very big privilege to get to drive to school, and these certain trouble-makers have been jeopardizing these advantages.
Driving to school can also be considered bad for the environment because of the pollution and the amount of gas that can be used is insane. Carpooling, which many students already take part in, is a great way to travel to school. One solution to the problems of drivers at North could be to raise the price of the tickets, so that maybe the students would learn to be safer and smarter when on the roads.
If the authorities at our school were tougher on the drivers, maybe the students would learn to be more careful. I just really feel that the students at FHN are smart enough to know not to joke or mess around, especially while in a big, heavy price of machinery.
