Kenny Kim, a 2001 FHN graduate, spoke to students Thursday, March 12 in the guidance office about having a future in the medical field.
Kim, a current UCLA medical student and graduate of Truman State University, hoped that the students would leave with some kind of idea of where to take their careers.
“I wanted to share my journey with the students on how I got to medical school and on my way to becoming a doctor,” Kim said. “I want them to think about what they want to do and what they want to know.”
Tom Daugherty organized the visit by Kim and students from each grade attended the presentations that were given each hour throughout the day. Kim is just one of many guest speakers that can be seen in the guidance and college offices throughout the year at FHN.
