When we get up, most of the time, the first thing we do is check our phone. We need to see who called, who texted us, and what we missed. Next we get on the computer to check our mail,

and usually after that we turn on the television to see what is on the morning news. When we go for a run, we automatically grab our iPod. One of the first couple things on our Christmas list, is some kind of new electronic, that we “have to have.”

We go through life depending on electronics all the time. If we’re bored, we find our phone, get on the computer, watch television, or listen to our iPod. When we can’t, we complain we’re bored, that we have “nothing to do.”

Don’t get me wrong, I think electronics are a great thing, but when the electricity is out, we complain, instead of going for a walk and enjoying the weather without our iPod, or talking with our family to get to know them better.

If you talk to someone and ask them, “What is the one thing you can’t live without?” they will say some electronic, instead of something that is actually important. I think there are a billion other things to do in the world instead of depending on electronics to keep us occupied. I think everyone should take some time in their daily lives to enjoy other things that are not a electronic.
