After this year’s foreign language department’s most recent Mardi Gras festivities held in the commons took place, Spanish Club members are already looking ahead to May. Only one thing is on their minds: Cinco de Mayo.
“It’s the most important time of the year for us,” junior Randi Yousey said. “It’s our most looked forward to event of our calendar.”
As last year’s festivities also took place in the commons with music, pizza, and games like musical chairs and bingo, Spanish Club members can only hope for the best in exceeding these expectations this year.
“Even though it is only March, we are still planning ahead,” junior Matt Lindsay said. “We can only improve from here.”
