Which weather is better: Hot or cold?

What’s the difference between 20 degrees in the weather? The answer is a lot. While some people like 50 degree weather, others, like myself, enjoy the warm cool sensation of 70 degree weather.

Having said that, I can easily argue both points.

There are many high points for the opposing view of cold weather. The biggest plus for me is snow; it’s probably one of the best things I look forward to in winter. Another finer point of the cold season are the holidays it has. Then there’s the cute trendy coats and pants you get to wear to hold up against the weather. Along with the snow comes sledding and winter sports like football.

Then comes the downside of colder weather. Obviously no one likes to be freezing. You have to be bundled up every time you walk outside. Sickness always seems to linger around when it’s cold as well. There’s also an almost gloomy feeling when it’s bitter outside as well.

Warm weather also has a few disadvantages too. For starters, feeling too hot is never a good thing. The gross feeling of sweat also seems to tag along with warm weather. However there are many more good things about warm weather than bad. Outside activities, for example, are always a plus. When it’s warm you can go outside and play sports or have a picnic. You can also dress much lighter and care-free. Going places is always a little easier in nicer weather because you don’t have to worry about putting on a jacket or warming up the car. Then there’s the major bonus of swimming. I love nothing more than lounging by the pool with friends under the sun. Who doesn’t like a nice tan either?

While warm weather has low points like cold weather, I personally think the good outweighs the bad.
