The end of the year always signifies major events for the senior class. With most of their schooling behind them they can focus on more fun things. These events tend to start in late April with prom,

which will be held on April 18. This year’s theme is Venice Bliss.

Next on the list are the annual Senior Olympics. They will be held in the big gym on April 23.

On April 28, anyone who would like to perform or make a speech at graduation can try out on this day. Around the middle of May is usually when Senior Week occurs. This year it will be held from May 11-15.

Senior awards will be held on May 13 in the big gym starting at 6:30 p.m. During this night, the senior class will be acknowledged for any scholarships they received and any department chords they have earned. That next morning the seniors will enjoy a breakfast provided to them by their own class delegates. They also have a mandatory graduation practice that day.

The last day of Senior Week ends with a bang. From 4-8 p.m. all the seniors of the school will gather on the football practice field to participate in the Senior Bonfire. This is one of the last chances that the seniors can be together all at once before they continue with their lives after high school.
