Supercenter opens after nearly a year of construction

Wednesday, April 15, was the final opening day for the Wal-Mart Supercenter, on Jungermann and highway 94.

The new Wal-Mart construction was started in the summer of 2008 and has been worked on ever since. Walmart went from a regular Walmart to a super center.

Wal-Mart now has many additional things to it, like bigger aisles, groceries, a place for hair cuts, a bigger pharmacy, and more products.

Along with all the new additions and new products comes new workers.

“My favorite part would be all the new associates we get with the new store, there are some cool new people,” worker Johnny McPeak said.
