On April 14, Mu Alpha Theta had a meeting in room 219. The club talked about induction ceremonies, which will be held next Wednesday at 7 a.m. in the auditorium.

New members will be in charge of bringing the refreshments and food for the reception held after the ceremony.

“In order to be inducted, your math teacher must make sure you meet the qualifications and then they ask you if you would like to be a member,” junior Rukhaiya Amir said. “Once inducted, the amount of points that need to be earned are decided and if seniors earn all of the points, they receive honor cords.”

To get ready for the big night, Mu Alpha Theta will be coming before school and staying after to fold programs and put ribbon on the certificates. If you missed this morning’s meeting, there will be another one after school in room 219 at 2:30. After that, the next meeting will be Tuesday, May 5 before and after school to talk about officer positions.
